Overview of our courses

Personal branding

In a labour market where networking is becoming increasingly dominant for getting a job and finding out more information about the specific tasks and responsibilities associated with a position, personal profiling has become essential. If you want to achieve something you should be given the chance to do so, and presenting yourself in the proper way (personal branding) certainly helps.
Many people associate personal branding with arrogance, or they think it’s too ‘American’ and all about making yourself the centre of attention. Many people don’t feel confident when it comes to presenting themselves, while others jump straight to the content. Once people have more or less overcome their embarrassment and/or reluctance, they often forget to consider the receiver/audience to whom they are presenting themselves. What would that person like to hear?

In short: you will be given tips for adding content to your LinkedIn profile summary as well as your personal profile on your CV, for identifying your skills at a networking event or job interview, and for fine-tuning your personal pitch.

The aim of this workshop is to give you a clear insight into your own knowledge, skills and attitude, which in turn will help you better understand your professional profile. You will achieve this by completing exercises and analysing feedback.
At the end of the day, you will have created a well-crafted personal professional profile in which every word, every full stop and every comma matter. You can then use this profile for your LinkedIn summary and add it to your CV, or even as a basis for answering the question “Tell me about yourself” in a job interview. The primary focus of this workshop is on finding out which skills are the most in demand on the job market.

We identify your professional and personal story in a creative and active work session. You will have completed homework prior to this session, which we use to guide us through the process. Based on feedback, we select a number of elements from your personal profile and you will write your own professional story. At the end of the day, you will:

  • know more about who you are and what you are capable of;
  • be aware of the importance of networking behaviour;
  • be able to apply this in job interviews.

The training lasts one day, from 9am until 4.30pm. You will be given homework tasks beforehand, and a trainer will conduct a telephone intake interview with you.
This workshop is for a maximum of 10 participants. So don’t wait too long! Send an email to

DiSC communication training

  • Do you ever find yourself in the situation where you could have sworn that you put the message across properly, but the other person failed to interpret it in the way intended?
  • Or that, on a Monday morning, your colleague doesn’t even ask you what you did at the weekend, but after saying a quick ‘hello’ on his way from the coffee machine to his computer just carries on with his work? How rude!
  • And then that same colleague always has a confused look on his face whenever you ask a simple question, because you supposedly did not provide enough details? How tiresome!
  • And then there are those colleagues who noisily tramp through the office like unguided missiles, talking in the most desultory fashion, leaving others in a state of utter confusion. Surely these people are never able to get results?

Recognise the above situations?
These days a lot of people claim they are ‘skilled communicators’, but what does it really mean? Ultimately, communication is all about getting a message across to the other person so that they understand it the way you want them to understand it. In practice, that actually doesn’t happen very often. Different people have different communication profiles, the main ones being D, I, S, C. Without being aware of it, the presence of different communication profiles is the main reason behind most of the problems that people experience during various forms of interaction.

In this training course you will find out about the different communication profiles, which profile you have, and the characteristics of each profile. This will help you switch between the different communication profiles as appropriate. After this training, you will be more successful in terms of results-oriented communication, and you’ll be better equipped to get the most out of your own and other people’s potential.

Effective planning – no to stress, yes to success!

Want to have a better overview of your study plan or work activities? Want to learn to plan better? Want to dare to say ‘no’ more? In the ‘Effective planning’ workshop, you will learn how to plan your studies and work in a practical way, so it will become much easier to pass your exams and achieve your work goals. You will get tips and advice on how to stick to this plan and how to achieve your results. It will leave you with a greater sense of calm in your studies, your work and your head, and with more room for fun!

In this training course, you will:

  • plan your studies and/or work using a specific planning methodology;
  • find out which tools apply to you and can help you study and work more effectively;
  • learn to say ‘no’, make choices, delegate work, ask for help;
  • practise applying the right behaviour to work more effectively.

Prior to the training course you will need to complete two homework tasks: identify the things which disrupt your time, and set performance objectives for your studies or discuss them with your employer.

At the end of this training, you will have:

  • set performance objectives for your studies or work, designed using the new planning methodology;
  • all the necessary tools for planning your performance targets;
  • read many tips on how to work more effectively.

The training lasts one day, from 9am until 4.30pm. You will get homework tasks beforehand, and a trainer will conduct a telephone intake interview with you.
This workshop is for a maximum of 10 participants. So don’t wait too long! E-mail

The transition from studying to working can be quite difficult. Finding a job in the current labour market is also no easy task. As long as you’re a student you probably won’t worry about it too much, but once you’ve got that coveted degree you will find yourself faced with the complexities of the labour market
A plan can be useful.

In this training course, you will:

  • explore and analyse the current situation within your field;
  • find out which organisations are active in your field and how you can approach them;
  • get tips on making choices which will help you towards landing your ‘dream job’;
  • identify the steps you might take to achieve this.

Before attending this training course you will take a LINC test (interests and competency test based on personality types identified by American psychologist John Holland. This will produce recognisable results you can use to get your career off to a flying start). The results will be discussed with you, and you will then need to complete a preparatory assignment prior to the training.

At the end of this training, you will have:

  • Identified two relevant employment options, or the possibility of further exploring your options;
  • an overview of possible obstacles and resources specific to getting a job in your sector;
  • an overview of target organisations and different ways of approaching them.

You have no problems writing a letter of motivation or CV, but what is the best way to pitch and present yourself during an interview? And it’s a no-brainer that the desired result is getting the job!
In this training course, you will work on your conversation skills with both a trainer and training actor.

Coaching: improving results in your own life

Coaching is an effective form of personal guidance. The coachee learns, and the coach supports this learning process. The purpose of coaching is to increase your personal effectiveness, beyond the level you have become used to.

  • Not afraid to set yourself goals?
  • Do you know what you want and say what you want?
  • Do you find yourself constantly struggling with certain things?
  • Would you like to be able to focus more/better?

Then perhaps coaching is something for you.
During the intake interview, we jointly examine whether coaching can provide the answer to your question.
You and the coach get to know each other during this initial interview. You share your expectations and explore your ‘coaching question’. The coach also explains the process during this interview, after which you can decide whether you want to do the coaching programme.
During the coaching period, you will work on your attitude, habits and skills by practising in real-life (your life) situations. Everything you do will be relevant to your definition of success.

The coach will help you internalise methods and teach you how to put advice into practice. And you will celebrate the successes together.
All efforts are focused on achieving practical results in your life.
A personal coaching programme lasts 6 to 8 weeks.
