Working at Basic-Fit
Basic-Fit is one of Europe’s largest fitness companies, with websites serving members across several European countries. You’ll join the Digital Marketing team at the headquarters in Hoofddorp. The team works on improving Basic-Fit’s websites, including their SEO and GEO performance as part of an international AI/LLM project. The project focuses on adding and improving content for six different countries. You’ll join a team of five people and work closely with content, marketing and development colleagues. The Content Marketer will be your main point of contact and will train and guide you during the project.
What will you do as a working student digital marketing?
Your main job is to make sure new and updated content is correctly published on the Basic-Fit website. You’ll work in the CMS and help roll out content across different countries and languages. At the same time, you’ll keep track of translation workflows and check that everything is implemented correctly. If you enjoy writing and show a talent for it, there may even be opportunities to create content yourself later in the project.
These will be your tasks:
- You publish and update content on Basic-Fit.com using the CMS;
- You implement new pages and content across multiple European markets;
- You coordinate translation workflows with localization partners and keep track of progress;
- You perform quality checks to make sure content is complete, correct and properly implemented;
- You support website updates and other day-to-day digital content operations.
The role is for two to three days per week, depending on your availability. The preferred working days are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. You’ll work from the Basic-Fit office in Hoofddorp.

What matters most in this role is that you work accurately, stay organised and enjoy working with digital content. You’ll be part of an international project and gain hands-on experience with digital marketing and content management.
- You are currently studying for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Media, Business, Digital Marketing or a similar field;
- You are comfortable working in English and can keep a clear overview when working on different tasks;
- You are interested in websites, SEO or e-commerce. Experience with a CMS such as Contentful or Salesforce Commerce Cloud is a plus, but not required.

For this working student position, you’ll earn €15,18 gross per hour. You can work 16 hours per week for approximately five months, depending on your availability. Your preferred start date?
